floral lady in green berry plants

This one went through a bunch of different colour adjustments, but this last one i liked! It is a test of how the floral ladies will look like with a background, and after this one i decided i dont want to do it like this. But now i finally know what i want! :)

Floral ladies

And now some of the naked donut ladies get colourful floral dresses and new body postures. It took quite some time to figure out exactly what i wanted for the backgrounds, but after a version (which i will post later), i found out what i wanted to do! :D This is a WIP view of the floral ladies that i haven't spent much time colour adjusting yet:)

multigenerational living

For about 2 months i've been working on this very cute and fun little film - old school cut out animation! The two lucky architects, Sofie and Julie, won a competition to make a little film about their concept of "multigenerational living / housing" and I am lucky to be part of a small team helping to make it:) I have been creating the character designs and puppets, and now i'm animating. It's so much fun to get to animate your own designs!:) It's been a very educating experience to work in this medium - i'm looking so much forward to seeing the film finished! :D

Here are some photos from the animation desk:)

(We are working with two layers)

The animation is shot in Dragonframe, and here you can see my fast (and pretty) animation notes on the screen:)

If you want, you can check out the production blog for the film HERE. (It's all in Danish)

one more donut lady

One more donut lady. It's really fun because they are fairly quick to draw and i dont have to figure out what kind of dress to draw and what kind of pattern the fabric should have and so on. So i just need to figure out the hair style (which is always the part i love to draw the most!), and enjoy being an adventurer in proportion-and-composition land.

donut ladies

I am making this little series of undressed redhaired ladies with donuts. This project is the result of a compromise, and it has turned out to be quite fun actually! This first one is the only one i will show with the full drawing right now, the other ones are only parts of the drawings:)

"Du Velger Selv" - backgrounds

Recently the film i worked on while interning at Mikrofilm had it's premiere. I went to Oslo last week to see it, and it was so great to see it finished! Mainly i worked on the backgrounds - building the chairs, houses, trees, busses and so on in paper, which afterwards was photographed (not by me). Here are three stills from the film, and you can see more photos/backgrounds on my portfolio ! :)

plants

It's confusing working with two different screens, that dont share the same colour profile. Now i never know which screen to adjust the colours to. i drew this for the purpose of experimenting with various parts.
